Gabriel King learned marksmanship beneath a church floor and purpose from a combat-medic nun: calm your pulse and protect what the world will not. When fifty raiders came for the orphanage, Guardian made every yard of approach cost them.
A converted countryside church served as both orphanage and fortress. Beneath its floorboards Gabriel found an M1 Garand and an annotated field manual.
He held the largest assault almost alone, moving between firing points until an explosive breach buried him. The allied patrol that found him also found the children alive.
Emplace before contact, identify the threat most likely to reach an ally, and fire only when the shot changes the battle. Guardian relocates before retaliation finds the muzzle flash.
